Healthy apple oatmeal muffins are the ideal breakfast or afternoon snack πŸ‘ŒπŸ»With around 170 calories each, these muffins help cut down calories whilst still having a delicious treat πŸ™ŒπŸ»

This recipe is made without refined sugar and is sweetened with honey 🍯 which compliments the taste of the apples rather than being overly sweet πŸ€— You can also add dark chocolate chips or chopped nuts instead of the raisins if you prefer.

Recipe for 12 muffins πŸ‘‡πŸ»

🍎3 cups oats
🍎1 cup milk
🍎2 tbsp honey
🍎3 tbsp coconut oil
🍎1 tsp cinnamon
🍎1 tbsp baking powder
🍎1/4 tsp salt
🍎Vanilla extract
🍎1 finely chopped apple
🍎Raisins

Preheat oven to 180 Celsius.

Mix the oats, cinnamon, baking powder and salt together. In a separate bowl, mix the milk, honey, coconut oil and vanilla extract.

Combine the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients then fold in the chopped apple and raisins.

Pour mixture into muffins cases and bake for 20 to 25 minutes
