Butter and sage sauce, or as Italians say โ€˜burro e salviaโ€™ is a popular Italian sauce used most commonly for gnocchi, ravioli or tortellini ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น The sauce is very quick and easy to make, and sometimes the best meals are the simplest to make ๐Ÿ˜‹

Also you need to do to make the sauce is melt butter in a saucepan and add fresh sage leaves ๐ŸŒฑ Once the sage leaves get a little bit crispy, add the boiled gnocchi to pan sear them. Add pasta water if needed. Finally, add grated parmesan and black pepper and serve ๐Ÿด๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป
