This rigatoni alla vodka is a creamy pink vodka sauce which is easy and quick to make and requires only a few ingredients 😋🙌🏻
The pink colour comes from mixing the tomato pulp with cream ✔️The addition of the vodka does not have a distinctive flavour bit is there to refine and enhance the sauce’s flavours 👌🏻
Recipe for 2 portions 👇🏻
🍴3 garlic cloves
🍴1 maltese sausage
🍴1 can tomato pulp
Cook the maltese sausage, chopped onion and garlic in some olive oil.
Once cooked, put the pan off the heat and add a splash of vodka. Put the pan back on low heat and stir to deglaze the pan. Let the alcohol cook off for around 1 minute.
Add the tomato pulp and season with salt and pepper. Add a touch of cream, parmesan and pecorino romano until the sauce is creamy.
Finish cooking nearly al dente pasta into the sauce and serve 👌🏻
